Experienced, versatile online business development professional specializing in business process engineering, website production, and marketing project management.
I am primarily drawn to smaller, agile companies developing digital products or services for rapid-growth industries. Having begun my career during the dot-com boom, I still have an affinity for scrappy startups with big dreams.
My experience wearing many "hats" at early-stage startups left me comfortable in fast-paced environments, where continuous learning and creative problem solving are fundamental requirements. My professional and academic experience has fostered the development of a variety of skills across multiple disciplines, some of which are listed on the right
I have most often excelled when able to focus on implementing website and marketing project management frameworks designed to increase efficiency and online or retail sales. For a print-friendly version of the experience here, download my resume.

I began hosting canine guests in my home through Rover.com several years ago. What began as a way to delay adopting my own dog turned into a tremendously rewarding experience and a thriving side-hustle.
Included here is a small sample of projects I've produced over the years as a professional web developer. While I am no longer interested in pursuing opportunities for which hands-on design or development would be a primary role, the experience gained from these projects has prepared me to manage every aspect of online business development, from concept to completion. In addition to the nostalgic value, I display these (now mostly outdated) projects because they showcase the evolution of web design over the years. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about my role with any of the featured companies here or the projects on display below.
Spring 2015 — The first "4/20" our nascent marijuana delivery service was approaching, falling on the same weekend as the local community's most popular annual event, the "Grand Prix of Long Beach". Getting our message in front of the greatest number of potential customers without breaking the bank was the objective. Although print design isn't exactly my greatest strength, I managed to put together an effective campaign involving a postcard-sized glossy flyer to be handed out by some of our more personable sales consultants dressed in custom tank-tops with the new company logo silk-screened onto the front.
One of my favorite campaigns I did for PRC Delivery, this Valentine's Day campaign centered around an innovative new "adult" product, a cannabis-infused lubricant. I think the product itself was mostly a gimmick, but between that and the aptly named "Sex Panther", I put together a pretty effective campaign that generated a lot of buzz about the fledgling delivery operation just as we were getting off the ground at a 2nd location in Santa Ana.
This project included a complete overhaul of the A's bi-monthly magazine, bringing rich media features and a digital subscription option based on a digital publishing solution called Flipping Book.
This was a series of forms I created for YESnetwork.com. They represented some of the first entirely table-free forms on the site, consisting of well-formed XHTML and an entirely CSS-based layout.
This project was another album release promotional website I designed and produced for Atlantic Records. While working as a consultant for Warner Music Group, I designed and produced dozens of these sites for Warner's family of labels, including Warner Bros., Elektra Records, Rhino, and more. Many of these 'listening party' sites were directly responsible for a measured increase in pre-ordered albums.
One of my first assignments at CSK was to redesign the corporate website, with a goal of producing a more colorful site that would appeal to motorsports fans, highlighting CSK's many sponsorships in auto racing, and convey the atmosphere of the retail stores while offering a user-friendly shopping experience.
Networq, Inc., was an "e-business incubator" that grew out of the small web development company I joined as a student during the early stages of the dot-com boom of the late '90s. After the first company to hire me out of college suddenly closed its doors, I moved back to NY to join Networq full time. An important stage of early professional development, it was where I learned how to build online businesses from the ground up in a fast-paced startup environment with big dreams and limited resources.
This is was a redesign for the label's Intranet, entitled 'Elekrapedia'. It was a big improvement over the previous system, and provided employees with a clean, effective interface to accomplish a variety of tasks. Some of the information available through this site included record sales and marketing analyses.

I can help you bring your digital strategy in line with the true goals of your business model, and show you how to spend your resources only where they provide the best measurable ROI.
No idea what table tags and spacer gifs are? I do. I've writing HTML code since the beginning, and can help you create a web presence that's more than just a brochure. Does your website convert visitors into paying customers? If not, I can help.
My professional experience applying Project Management principles for such a wide variety of organizations has left me with an ability to rapidly identify and assess inefficient business processes that can be streamlined to reduce risk and increase revenue.
